Are There Any Free Home Based Businesses Out There?
Are There Any Free Home Based Businesses Out There? That's a good question...
And the answer is probably yes and probably no.
The old adage; 'there's no such thing as a free lunch' springs to mind so the best advice is to be very very careful.
There are a lot of scams out there, many of which purport to be free; but whether they are really and
truly free home based businesses is a matter for conjecture and, dare I say it, your careful investigation.
There are so many 'old sayings' (but wise sayings), and in truth I could almost write this article as a series of cliches.
But certainly, Caveat Emptor (buyer beware) would seem to be highly relevant in this case, as would the obvious one of 'if it
seems too good to be true, then it probably is' and there's no doubt that you wouldn't be the first to find out the hard way that
online, the supposedly free home based businesses may not be all they seem.
Grabbing for the magic concept of FREE (one of the most powerful psychological triggers in sales copywriting) could actually cost
you a lot more than you bargained for.
First off, you should perhaps ask yourself what you actually mean, or are looking for in your search for free home based businesses...
Are you looking for free in terms of cost - that is the actual cost of purchasing your work at home
business?
Are you looking for free in terms of operating cost - free home based businesses may cost nothing to buy but are
there hidden costs in terms of stock or equipment to buy (often at inflated rates from the person who is 'giving' you the so-called free home
based business) There may be premises to lease, staff to pay, commissions to pay etc etc.?
Are you looking for free in terms of your time - you may not have a lot of time to dedicate to any home based
business opportunity, one that cost nothing in monetary terms or otherwise.
As I've said, the word 'free' is one of the most frequently used - and one of the most psychologically important - words in sales
literature and copywriting. Read any book or article on the subject and you'll realise how important that word is when used to entice
you.
Every body loves a bargain and FREE would seem to be the biggest bargain of all.
But not everything is always what it seems.
Caveat Emptor - Buyer Beware.
Even if technically you're not the buyer - because you think it's free; you must still beware. There may be hidden costs
which will cost you far far more than what would be fair price if you had to buy the one of the so-called free home based
businesses (link takes you to our sister site, where you will see our main offer).
